It's our goal to help you feel at home in your skin by enhancing your natural beauty.
We do so with selection of aesthetic treatments, which you can learn about below.
Using blood-derived growth factors (platelet-rich plasma (PRP), the Vampire Microneedling Facial Procedure is a safe procedure for renewing the skin of the face and other body areas for correcting texture and color.
This treatment is natural in that your own cells are used and microneedled into the specified areas. Since a distillate of growth factors from your own blood (PRP) is used, there should be no side effects from the material microneedled. The body reacts to the treated cells as it does to a wound and immediately starts repairing the tissue. This builds the underlying tissue with tightening, smoothing, and increased blood flow (which makes the color more attractive). It may take 5 to 7 days to heal from microneedling and do not pick any of the scabs. Let these scabs naturally fall off so as to not produce any scars. Within 2 to 4 weeks you will see improvement with continue positive changes for 12 weeks. There is actual growth of new tissue by stimulation of uni-potent stem cells, so the change is not from something foreign being in the body but from the body actually rejuvenating and growing. The platelet rich plasma (PRP) stimulates new blood flow with new blood vessels (neo-vascularization). The results of this treatment should last for at least 6 months to one year, but results may vary and the research documenting the longevity of results are ongoing.
You may take a pain medication, such as Tylenol or a prescription medication may be requested. Do not take aspirin, Advil, Motrin, Aleve, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication, or corticosteroids. These drugs may inhibit the stem cells natural inflammatory response. A topical anesthetic (numbing) cream (lidocaine, bupivicaine, and tetracaine) is applied to the face and other body areas. Blood is drawn in the same way blood samples are taken for routine lab tests. Blood is centrifuged to separate the component cells. Platelets are separated and used for this procedure as platelet rich plasma. Platelet rich plasma is poured over your face while your aesthetic nurse micro-needles your skin using clean technique. This procedure has a duration of approximately 1 hour.
+ Foreseeable Risk and Discomforts
The primary risks and discomforts are related to the blood draw where there is a slight pinch to insert the needle for collection and there is a potential for bruising at the site. The microneedling may cause pain similar to an intramuscular injection since 12 small 33 gauge needles prick your skin during this procedure. There is generally minimal pain because the topical anesthetic numbs the skin and the needles are very, very small. There is a potential for bruising at the injection sites. Pain from bruising could occur. Smokers have less positive response to this treatment than non-smokers, since the toxins in cigarette smoke block the response of the stem cells. There may be some variation in achieving the results requested as everyone’s body type is different and may have a different response. The introduction of the needle(s) into the skin always presents the possibility of infection, scarring, loss of sensation, or change in muscle strength. Using blood-derived growth factors (platelet rich fibrin matrix [PRFM]), the Vampire Facelift® is a safe procedure for renewing the skin of the face and for correcting shape.
Using blood-derived growth factors (platelet rich fibrin matrix [PRFM]), the Vampire FaceliftTM is a safe procedure for renewing the skin of the face and for correcting shape. This is performed in conjunction with facial fillers, most commonly Juvéderm®, which creates scaffolding for the PRP in targeted areas i.e. temples, cheeks, jawline, chin, smile lines, and undereye areas. While Juvéderm® provides immediate results for the patient, PRP is able to promote your own collagen production over the next 3-4 weeks providing a more lasting result.

Neuromodulators is the umbrella term for Botox, Xeomin and Dysport. OmniaPiel provides both Botox and Xeomin at this time. Depending on the consultation process and client needs, the practioner will decide which brand is best for you!
Neuromodulators weaken muscle contracitlity thus softening and in some cases, completely smoothing, facial wrinkles.
Depending on your age, quality of life and skin care, some patients are able to obtain a very smooth complexion while others can soften and refresh the skin. Areas most commonly treated are the glabella (11s), forehead and crows feet. Ask your provider about any other areas these modulator can help!
Neuromodualtors are an intramuscular injection requiring penetration beneath the skin. The takes somewhere between 20-45 minutes. Full results of treatment are seen between 3-14 days. In the case a patient requires a touch up, we will not re-inject until day 14 as we need to see full results before proceeding.

Botox is called the “lunchtime” procedure for a reason. It fairly simple and doesn’t require a lot of time. However, at OP we don’t like our patients to feel rushed and do a thorough consult each time before material is placed. This ensures the practitioner and patient are on the same page.
As with any injections, there is slight discomfort when the needle is placed under the skin. Ice is applied prior for a natural anesthetic and helps the treatment to be considerably more comfortable. Slight swelling or “wheels” are desired when material is injected but will dissipate after 20-30 minutes. Ice can be applied after for comfort. Bruising is not common but definitely possible. Some patients are more vascular than others and while we try our best to avoid major veins, it is not always doable.
If you have an egg allergy, history of Lou Gehrig’s, peripheral nerve issues, myasthenia gravis, previous muscle weakness with carcinoma, blurred or double vision or drooping upperlids, you are not a candidate for neurotoxin.
If you have an active infection, we will not treat you with botox at that time.
There are a few things to avoid prior to and after injections:
- Avoid alcohol 24 hours PRIOR
- Do not excerise 24 hours AFTER treatment
- Avoid alcohol 24 hours AFTER treatment
- Do not lie down for 3 hours AFTER treatment (this risks solution dispersing to aresa we do NOT want it!)
- A headache post treatment should be treated with Tylenol. Avoid blood thinning meds such as Aleve, ibuprofen or Excedrin.
JUVÉDERM® is a collection of fillers that are made of hyaluronic acid (HA). HA is a natural substance in your skin that delivers nutrients, helps the skin retain moisture and softness, and adds volume. Different formulations are approved to either lift cheeks, smooth parentheses lines, smooth vertical lip lines or plump the lips. The results are subtle and long lasting. Depending on the type of JUVÉDERM® used, you can expect to enjoy the continued results for up to 1 year, and in some cases up to 18 months to 2 years.
JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC softens moderate to severe parentheses lines and wrinkles by adding subtle volume around the nose and mouth in adults over the age of 21.
JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC adds volume to the cheek area to correct age-related volume loss in adults over 21.
JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC adds subtle volume to lips and softens the appearance of vertical lip lines.
JUVÉDERM® XC smooths moderate to severe parentheses lines and wrinkles around your nose and mouth.
JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC adds fullness and plumps lips as well as smooths and corrects moderate to severe parentheses lines in adults.
As we age our facial features change in many ways. This is in part due to the normal aging process, genetics, and the environment. These factors can all lead to volume loss in your face leading to deepening parentheses lines and wrinkles, flattening and sagging of cheeks, and loss of lip volume.
Your aesthetic nurse will perform a consultation and provide a facial analysis. Be prepared to discuss your areas of concern. JUVÉDERM® contains lidocaine to help minimize discomfort during the injection process. A topical local anesthetic may also be utilized. Actual Treatment time can take from 15- 60 minutes, depending on which area of your face is being treated. Let us help choose the JUVÉDERM® filler to address your specific concerns. You will see results immediately.
Contraindications to JUVÉDERM® injectable gel fillers include but are not limited to: History of severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis), allergy to lidocaine or the gram positive bacterial proteins used to make hyaluronic acid in JUVÉDERM. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you are on immunosuppressive therapy used to decrease the body’s immune response, as use of these products may result in an increased risk of infection. Tell your doctor if you have a history of excessive scarring or pigmentation disorders, as use of these products may result in additional scars or changes in pigmentation.
With OmniaPiel’s micro-needling procedure, the Dermapen 3™, is used. This utilizes a sterile cartridge containing 12 micro-needles which vertically pierce the skin through an advanced oscillating technique. This creates micro injury to the skin prompting the inflammatory process which results in an increased production of collagen.
Micro-needling has many benefits for patients with all skin types and color. It heavily focuses on but is not limited to treating the following concerns: aging skin, vertical lip lines, hyperpigmentation, loose, dull skin, enlarged/dilated pores, stretch marks and scars (acne, surgical, and burns). The results of micro-needling include, improved skin texture creating a smoother and softer appearance, tighter more firm skin, improved pigmentation from sun damage or melasma and ultimately a rejuvenated appearance.
A topical local anesthetic (TLA) is applied to the epidermis for 20-25 minutes. Prior to beginning treatment, your aesthetic nurse will remove the TLA and cleanse the face. The treatment duration lasts 20-30 minutes in which multiple passes of the pen are moved over the face in four different directions.
Depending on the skin condition, your aesthetic nurse can help you customize your treatment with a serum targeting your specific concerns. Commonly used agents are hyaluronic acid and Vitamin C.
Mirco-needling treatments are not suitable for patients experiencing the following conditions: papulopustular rosacea, cystic acne, active herpes simplex, warts, scleroderma (autoimmune disease) open lesions, solar keratosis (thickened, scaly growths caused by the sun), skin cancer, hemophilia and pregnancy.
For further information on microneedling with the DermaPen 3™, please reference the DermaPen 3™ patient brochure found under the “Patient’s Forms” tab.
Before and after treatment photos can also be seen under the “Gallery” tab.

Platelet Rich Plasma
Over the last several years, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) has gained quite a bit of momentum due to its healing effects in many well- known athletes such as Tiger Woods and Rafael Nadal as well as, celebrities, Kim Kardashian and Bar Refaeli. While the purpose for each is very different, sports injury versus aesthetic enhancement, the results are undeniable, PRP is healing from the inside out.
The major component of PRP are platelets which hold growth factors known to be a part of the natural process in the which our bodies heal itself. Application of PRP to the dermis, either topically during micro-needling procedures or injected into a focused area, helps to soften fine lines and plump the skin by increasing collagen production. The most alluring aspect of this procedure is the fact that it is all natural, derived directly from the patient! This also removes the risk of allergic reaction which is unknown when using other synthetic products.
PRP is beneficial for all patients but particularly for those who have yet to do any procedures to their skin but are seeing signs of aging via decreased volume in the cheeks, fine lines around the eyes, frown lines or deep smile lines. It is also commonly used in conjunction with Juvéderm® fillers creating the popular procedure Vampire Facelift ®, which we also offer!
Your aesthetic nurse will draw a vial or your blood which will then be spun through a centrifuge to isolate the PRP from the red blood cells. Various modalities are used to utilize the PRP including, micro- needling (Vampire Facial/Facelift®) and stand-alone injections for concerns with poor elasticity and the need for collagen production in targeted areas.
PRP is your body’s own natural substance, therefore you do not run a risk of having any allergic response to the treatment.

When injected to areas such as the submental fat “ turkey neck” or jowls (heaviness in the lower cheek) patients see a significant reduction in fat. The beauty of this treatment is that the fat never comes back!
Kybella is based off of syringes needed and that is dictated by the area being treated. The submental fullness area generally requires 2-4 sryinges and a series of treatments, spaced 2-3 months apart to allow for full fat “aptosis” (fat cell death). The jowl area uses much less material- no more than 2 syringes and also requires a series of treatments, spaced 2-3 months apart. Treatment times takes about 1 hour.
+ Foreseeable risks and discomforts
Tailored treatment plan will be disussed with your provider so consideration can be paid to post treament guidelines, social downtime and any concerns of post treatment symptoms. Directly after injection a cramping sensation occurs which lasts 10-45 minutes. Ice is applied for comfort. Swelling, heat and some soreness is normal for up to 2 weeks after.
+ Contraindications to Kybella
Those with excessive skin laxity and prominent platysmal bands.
We caution patients who have a history of dysphasia, coagulation abnormalities or are consistently on an anti-platelet or anticoagulant.
For patients with history of heart disease or valve replacement, who require continued anticoagulant therapy, you must have written consent from your primary cardiologist prior to treatment.
